Dr. Kevin Smith, PT, DPT, CBIS

I knew I wanted to be a physical therapist since high school when I needed therapy for an injury from overhead sports. I loved learning about the body and thought I could use that interest to help others. After high school I graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with an Exercise Science concentration. I was lucky enough to meet my beautiful wife in wine country, where we lived for our first year of marriage. My wife and I moved down to my home town in Orange County to continue with our education. I achieved a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California and since then I have been specializing in treating vestibular and balance disorders. God has blessed my wife and I with 3 kids who we are raising in Garden Grove. Along with my responsibilities as a husband and a father, I continue to further my knowledge of vestibular disorders through continuing education, I have completed the Emory Vestibular Competency Course, Advanced Vestibular Training, and I am a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. I enjoy spending time with my family, baking bread, and any outdoor activities. I have a passion to serve my community and help others heal faster.

Recovery begins with understanding — and I’m here to help you navigate it.
